I wish the NFL would change to the college rule when it comes to being down without contact. Defense needs all the help it can get, AND wait for it... Isn't it safer if you remove the extra hit from the game.

Matter of preference I guess. NFL OT gives equal footing for both O and D. College OT heavily favors O as only have to cover 25% of the field for a TD and with a decent kicker already in scoring range.

Not really. If the team that wins the coin toss scores a TD. The other team never gets a offense possession.

I definitely agree. If you watch a lot of film of college football, the linemen will go beyond 3 yards on a pass play. The NFL has it right at one yard. This is why there is so much scoring in college.
