Jeaux, while your thought process may be correct you aren't taking into account the opponent and their style.
Our backs will play a different role vs this defensive front than most of the year. OU is extremely aggressive up front which leaves MASSIVE lanes of escape. TDP will gash them on delayed handoffs and late releases over the middle.
While I am as big a CEH fan as anyone, this is the one game we could afford him to rest.

I believe the offense will be just fine without CEH. However, I do believe we will miss CEH for his elusiveness and that last extra yard he seems to get from each touch. I may be only 10-15 yards a game but think about how many first downs he's produced from those this season.
