Back in 2007 CBS had a rule in placed that they wouldn't show the same team three weeks in a row. I guess that rule is gone.

Once UT lost to UGA AND lost their starting QB, that probably sealed the deal for LSU/AU at 2:30. I, like most, didn't think CBS would put LSU on 3 times in a row. There weren't many options outside of 2 games. LSU/AU is clearly the best game that day.
Call it a tough "break" for Bray and LSU's chances for a SEC home night game.

Well a new contract was put into place in 2009, I believe. Either then or 2008. So if there was a rule saying that, I'm sure it was removed in the new contract.

I know that.. just saying if there is another big game on that week, ie... Bama/tenn, IMO is as big as LSU/Au.

VTech was OOC. Florida game was primetime CBS, but CBS still had first pick. We'll likely get that spot next year for Bama.
