Holy crap… there are people that think Paul CPM was a good coach??? Not if you know baseball
So all the college baseball writers that think he was one of the best coaches and the American Baseball Coaches that are a part of an association that voted him into the hall of fame don’t know baseball?
Paul Maineiri had his flaws and it was time for him to go but he is still one of the best baseball coaches in the history of college baseball.

Brian Kelly was able to keep ND relevant and in the playoff conversation and even had a trip to the title game, AT NOTRE DAME...let that sink in. He was able to be relevant at a place that's VERY HARD to recruit to. It's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get into ND, so you think even HALF of these 5 stars or even 4 stars qualify to get into ND?? I highly doubt it. So Brian Kelly not having those qualifying restrictions and a far a better recruiting area, yea I'll take my chances with BK
I don't think this is nearly as true as you think it is. Brian Kelly never won an NC at ND because he never had NC-caliber QB play. QB is not a position where admissions is usually an issue. Kelly simply failed to recruit and develop the position well.

Hot take I know,
aside from the fact the dude is a total cheese dick, just like Paul...
Just got a gut feeling that he will be a great coach that eventually averages 10 maybe even 11 wins a year and mayyyybe gets one title, again, similar to Paul.
Is that the level of success we are okay with? 100m for one title? Does simply making it to the CFP qualify as success? I'd happily take that over what we've seen the last two years, but I just don't see him pushing us over the edge into the "elite" territory as long as Saban is coaching in the west.
I could be way off the mark but I see some people making huge assumptions about him "changing the work ethic", and "alignment" and "insert buzzword" when he hasn't even coached a game here yet.
Obviously this is all speculation, but pretty much everything posted about him so far has been that way.
I know nothing yet and I hope I am very wrong.
Im gonna make this short, your a dumbass !!!!!!

Winning that much and still playing second fiddle to Alabama would be equally frustrating to me
You need to go ahead and become an Alabama fan.

Me and the circle of people I operate in aren't cool with only getting to go to one natty in 10 years.
Let me get Scott Woodward on the phone and let him know your sorry arse and your circle jerk group of fig friends don't approve of his head coaching hire.

Well by the opinion of the board you’re a little more than just way off the mark, I think the majority thinks you’re way way way way way off the mark.

Also, it is a known fact that people that constantly talk about make genitalia as secretly hiding the fact that they align with being homosexual.
That’s an indictment of this entire board.
“BDJ,” “STTDB,” etc. Large male genitalia is of great interest around here.

Paul tailed off in his last season, and still made a super. who knows what would've been of the COVID shortened season, and played for the NC again right before that. Had a hell of a career, legendary anywhere except LSU.That said,CPM in his first 4 years here? Yeah sign me up right effing now.

And when he turns out to be the most successful coach in LSU history because he actually isn’t a bumbling idiot like our two previous coaches?
Posted on 12/22/21 at 8:07 pm to BigRaggedyTiger
We get it. Everybody other than Nick Saban is a huge disappointment
