Yeah, but he had already taken them to the national championship game

Well with that thinking then Les or Orgeron should still be the coach since they made it to a championship

ND is better without him. And we are worse because of him. If you can’t fire him then make him fire all the assholes calling themselves assistants.

Huh? Les and Oregon didn't coach at ND. And ND clearly hasn't been LSU since 2000. The OP was saying Kelly's record was not as good as we think, but ND hadn't had a top 10 finish in over a decade when Kelly took over. He had them playing for the NC in his 3rd year there and finished his time there with 5 straight 10+ win seasons.

He shite the bed on Saturday, but I'm not going to try to act like he didn't do a good job at ND or forget that he got us over the Bama hump in Tiger Stadium last year and won the SEC West with a pieced-together roster.

BK can’t even shine Les Miles NC ring. He came to LSU for the payday.

ND lost to Marshall last year and it was their first time not winning 10 games in the last 6 seasons along with their lowest final ranking in 7 seasons. So with a veteran team with high expectations last year, Freeman was not better than Kelly had been. It's possible ND could become better without him, but so far, they haven't been better.

Yes, Saturday was a total failure, but LSU did win the West out of nowhere last year in Kelly's first year after he inherited a losing team with a depleted roster. Again, he could prove to be an inconsistent hire, but last year, we were better because of Kelly.
