Casual observation from B-ball game...

Great win and solid shooting. Watford is really good around the rim on slashes and drives. I think LSU needs to do more having him slash from weak side to ball side. As well we need more off ball screens to free up some low post opportunities. We don’t have a post presence so to speak and Watford, Williams , Days are all good on slash type plays plus great passers if they get covered up.
Again great game just thoughts moving forward against better teams to get some post looks and more foul opportunities.

Wade doesn’t really use post ups in his offense but Watford, Days and Emmitt for sure could give us a little boost in that area. They’re all very good back to the basket players inside 12 feet. Extending the defense to pressure the perimeter instead of that sagging D we normally play really made a big difference today. I hope it’s a permanent change and we didn’t just do it specifically for UGA.

Well, as someone who spent the last few days encouraging ppl to go early for the Senior’s recognition, I was pretty happy with how many ppl were there early enough to participate.
I dunno how many other Senior Days you’ve been to, but some, even last year, did not have much of a turn out, at all.
I was disappointed at the low student turnout, I’ve no idea why they didn’t show up. I guess nobody offered free food for this game.
There could have been more, of course, but in the 10 years that I’ve been here, it was as much as I could’ve hoped for. Thanks to all that made the effort.

I dont think the 10 students who go to baseball games caused the entire upper deck of the student section to be empty.

The upper deck behind student being empty made me question what the hell did they have to do that was better? Study? Beautiful 66 degree day and baseball after, and 250 students at best. Student section sucks.

The students that sit down low don’t create any energy for the other students to feed off of. Those other students aren’t having fun therefore they don’t come back or invest in the team. Guys will go to shite girls want to go to. Most Girls don’t give a frick about what’s on the court as long as they’re having fun and it’s a good Instagram opportunity like a football game.

Well, to beat that dead horse one more time, when I think of PMac basketball, I remember a bunch of loud crazies cheering for The Astronaut, Ethan E and Cookieman. Kicking a little SEC arse. Say what you will about Dale, those were good times.

Those are my memories as well. Great times. There was always a crew of students that you'd see on the broadcasts of the games that were aired. They had T-shirts that read "FRONT ROW LUNATICS" and they were the most awesome student basketball fans I ever saw! They are what made the Student Assembly Center (as it was known at the time) into the "Deaf Dome!"

I was there and was surprised. The students were nonexistent. If Kansas or a big name team comes to town sell those tickets in the uppers to the General public.

Yeah the SS looks like a Rush concert from 1974. About 85 percent dudes. The girls who are there seem to be moral support or loyal girlfriends. A few female diehards. The black guy with the blonde wig...where did he go? To work?
