do yall think cams gonna make an effort to get it to the tight end more?

I just want to know what he brings to the table for our staff...that's all I'm saying. You're right, I don't know and I'd like to.

Ensminger brings a lot of overall experience to the staff at a coaching position that isn't exactly the most vital. I do know Miles values the way he breaks down and analyzes film.
How the hell is this supposed to make us feel better?
After watching our play calling and game planning I was hoping that maybe we didn't watch film.

Cuz it ain't his TE coaching. Did we even have TEs on our team last year?
Just because we don't throw much to the TE's doesn't mean Ensminger is not doing his job as the TE coach. Our offense has put more importance on the TE's blocking than catching. I don't think Miles would have kept this long were he not contributing to the team/staff.

He doesn't make the gameplan or call plays. All I said is he breaks down game film, along with his duties as TE coach. Miles will keep him on staff because of the value he believe Ensminger brings outside of just the TE coach.

Henry is the main reason Smith came here, not Ensminger.
Ensminger got Logan Stokes and Tre White.

Ensming is still on the team solely for his timeout signal on the dl so only our an could see LOL. Les was so shocked at his clock management knowledge, he vowed to keep him for life!

So Ensminger broke down film and Les ignored it?
Or Ensminger broke down film, Les valued it, and the results were incorporated into the game plan?

Yes, and in fact I would say that most of the time our gameplanning has been good, but in game playcalling has been lackluster.

I'm still trying to figure out how this dude keeps surviving staff changes. What does he do on our staff? I've come to the conclusion his BBQ sauce is either amazing or he holds something over LSU's head. Maybe both.
Cuz it ain't his TE coaching. Did we even have TEs on our team last year? Ain't his recruiting either...must do something none of us know about. Oh well, at least we finally got a good OC.
You don't play QB at LSU and then coach on multiple college staffs without knowing a little football. He had a decent coaching resume' prior to LSU and I'm sure he has enough football knowledge to satisfy Miles.
Hey, he did have the presense of mind to call the timeout at the end of that Tennessee nightmare a few years ago.

I don't no what kind of coach he is but he was a shitty QB at LSU.

According to other coaches, Ensminger is an extremely hard worker on the recruiting trail. Fwiw

This. Clement was an excellent blocker the past 2 years. People just dont notice it because all they see is the limited number of times the TEs were thrown at. More to the TE position than just catches.

Or you are just a crybaby and have no clue as to what goes on in a real football program.

Typical Internet coolness with this thread. OP is definitely in the cool crowd now...
Ensminger stays under the radar and busts his arse yet people want to bustin him.

Steve has his role on the staff, he does it well and to the best of his ability
I've personally seen him rip into some folks on the sideline, maybe that's part of his role on the staff
