Well at least you could still be pulling for a team in the hunt.
BK went into his annual toilet games against AtM, AL and FL.

Actually you're wrong...while ND does have a good defense, but they were fortunate to face a UGA team without their starting QB, and got lucky UGA fumbled going in for a score and their offense not once produced a long scoring drive...

ND's TDs came off a UGA turnover for a one play 13 yd score and a 98 KO return then settled for long 3 40 plus yard FGs...not once were they a threat to score on offense when forced to go the length of the field...

If Beck is starting for UGA they game is completely different...

The average rantar just wants to hire whatever coach they've most recently seen win a game on TV.

Whenever I see threads like this, I just remind myself that a couple months ago the rant was 100% convinced that we made a huge mistake hiring Kelly instead of lane kiffin, and kiffin was going to beat the brakes off of us and take ole miss to the playoffs. People were talking about this as if it were a fact before the game had even happened. And then we all know what the result was.

it was a gamble on their side dude had never been a head coach

It’s always a gamble hiring a leader. BK had great bona fides, but did he still have the energy? I like hiring youngsters who are smart, personable, ambitious and have demonstrated work ethic. Put some gray hair around them and encourage them to listen to advice.

If that’s what Marcus Freeman was then it was a good gamble.

He needed the refs, two lucky plays and a hurt starting QB to beat UGA.

And the bench warmer Georgia clown who killed their own drive.

Officiating was heavy favored to ND.

He’s a good coach, but let’s not act like this team is amazing.

It's going to be Freeman against his alma mater for the national championship. Book it.
