He will be talked about in decades to come the way Bo is talked about up north.

Up there he would have always been Bo's boy, here he is making his own mark.

I have always been a fan of LM the man, not so much of LM the coach. I was wrong!

And actually, I think he's already there.

Something I want people to remember - Bo only coached until he was 60 years old. He did do 20 years at Michigan.

I do not see Miles coaching much past 2016, 2017, 2018 - I just don't. Maybe he stays through the end of the 1019 season to make it an even 15 seasons, but he'll be 66 - I suspect he is the kind of man that would like a 10 to 15 year retirement to enjoy his success and spend time with his adult children and grandchildren, NOT the kind of cantankerous old bastard that retires and dies 27 days later.

My proof is in the talent idiot, you tellin me had Saban not left he wouldn't have won more titles? yeah ok asswipe. Miles does a good job delegating his coaching to his coordinators, with him putting more of his emphasis in on the offensive side, which is why smash mouth football is the theme of team. and it works for him, that's all that matters, but don't tell me otherwise a-hole. and like I said earlier which seemed blow righht over y'alls frickin heads, Alabama could have easily won that game Saturday, but they shot themselves in the foot with the mistakes they made, and I for one am thankful because I folow LSU football no matter who is coaching. Now frick off, man, I'm tired of stupidity! and does Mich St. get the kind of talent LSU does, frick no. frickin moron.

Why oh why are you being such a dumbass? Why? Nothing you are saying bears any truth! Why!!! What makes you think this? I don't think saban will win another tittle at bama! He is another bob stoops! His whole coaching tree looks like shite right now! He didn't have to deal with hurricanes and the strongest SECW I have ever seen! Saban left us with few scholys and we had the 2 worst classes in 10 years because he left us on Christmass eve!!

Miles is a big game coach! More so then saban! Go look at miles record vs stoops and sabans record vs Michigan! Perrilloux really fricked us and he did the right thing by getting rid of him!

After the 08 debacle, he basically had to rebuild! It could of easily gone down the drain! As the talent level got back up, our record has gone up

2008. 8-5
2009. 9-4
2010. 11-2
2011. ?

rewatch the game from Saturday, we dominated in the second half and in the fourth quarter they were toast.

Field position is part of the game and miles played it like a fiddle and knew we had the advantage in OT. This is why he was conservative!!! Defense/field position and special teams ==== game over. WHAT WAS NICKS MASTER PLAN HUH??

And now let the NFL owners come courting...

Yes al least since Ive been alive. Dont foget about best recruiter ever! I bleive that more than coaching!!!!!!

No! Saban is a better recruiter!! Miles is the better talent evaluator and coach!!!

We played against and beat to a nub 3 number one recruiting classes!

I personally think miles and staff do a better job evaluating talent then anyone else in the country! Does our class last year look like the number 8 in the country? La'el, freak, obj, Jarvis, rasco, hillard are playing RIGHT NOW.

But technically, according to everyone else saban has recruited better.

settle down...Les is the only LSU coach to inherit National Championship caliber players.

Nick built it. Therefore, he gets my vote for "greatest" ever. Harder to 'build' than to 'maintain'

Actually you're wrong. Meyer, Chizik, Tressel, Stoops, Coker, and Saban all inherited players. And all of the players "thrived" while they were under Miles more so than under Saban, when they were all basically freshman and 3rd and 4th string backups at best
