Funny that some think our postseason losses are worse than other top teams.

Tulane has their Saturday starter Massey, the Baton Rouge Catholic kid, versus a much weaker one for UNCW.

Looking for a big outing from Massey in his first time in a Tulane uniform after just graduating from Catholic a couple weeks ago! Can't believe they got him enrolled and eligible so quickly. Takes balls to throw him out there in this situation! LOL

We may have crushed UNCW's spirit tonight.

I still like their team though.

This. That was a good team last night. Lucky for LSU, Lange settled in and pitched masterfully.

UNCW played good defense and got great pitching (untill the setting seemed to get to them and they booted a few balls). Good team, plenty of potential.

Their errors didnt lead to any runs, only real questionable play they made was by their 1st baseman, when he didn't go home and attempt to throw out Stevie...
We hit a lot of balls real hard last nite, just right at 'em....

I would like to beat the waving green pelicans tonite, just to remind them who their daddy is!!!

Yeah anybody who says Tulane has no chance hasn't ever followed a regional before. Teams that come out and almost pull off the upset but fall short very often lose to inferior teams the next game. The let down is hard to avoid. Also I'm not sure if unc-w can play that good again, They played defense for the first 7 or 8 innings that they haven't had all year. Their starter which is usually one of their weak spots pitched over his head. There bullpen is better than their starters but is very dependent on Ramsey who went more than an inning over his average outing and might not be available at all today. Not saying Tulane will win but they absolutely could.

It's baseball. So, yes. And we haven't seen it yet but at some point UNCW's pitching will fall off dramatically.

However, there is a very clear difference in the calibre of those two teams. Tulane fans really didn't understand how outgunned they were heading into the weekend.

Tulane is coming off a win.

UNCW got their bats sawed off and their will broken tonight.

I wouldn't be surprised by a TU win at all.
