I read that and also that Florida baseball doesn't have a lot of support so he may leave. Just seems odd that Florida doesn't have a big baseball following.

By the way, since you thought that statement as asinine, I typed in google, 2018 mlb draft projections, every single link I clicked on had Singer going 1 or 2

Good for you like I said I'm sure you'll own up to your statement after next years draft.

I sure will. Thanks for this meaningless conversation where you literally brought nothing to the table and I brought facts. Salty posters are the best.

The guy starts a thread asking a question then proceeds to badger and insult everyone who answers it. Self loathing in full effect.

Can't believe I'm biting on a madking post, BUT... Can you link me some teams that have "great" offensive numbers against "great pitching"? I think you don't understand that great pitching is hard to hit by anyone, including great offensive teams. Also, how would you have changed up the lineup, since you seem to take issue with how Mainieri filled his out?

I started this thread in April bumped it when we made the finals, and all you have said is

We average 2 runs per game in the finals

After admitting our offense was good enough to win the two games if we didn't have defense and base running errors

Nice alter tho

eta: I can upvote myself too madking

Now you're lying about what I said. I didn't say our offense was good enough I said we could've won the games. And I don't up or down vote unlike you I know they don't actually harm or help my physical body though I must admit it's entertaining watching you unravel.

I don't care for Maineri but you have to give him credit for a strong finish up to the Championship

Random thoughts.....Singer will be a high pick next year. #1 is doubtful..... base running and bunting are part of offense......CPM/Dunn wait too long to pull and/or warm up pitchers especially "unproven" pitchers......LSU has sucked at base running and bunting for years..... CPM emphasis at Hoover is mind boggling as is his success there, especially when LSU has already locked in a high or National seed. Tanner, O'Sullivan, Corbin, and Skip never put much emphasis on Hoover in an attempt to give their players a well deserved rest before the games that matter. This year we had two young freshman with arm problems. Not saying it was the cause for sure..... I'm not a big fan of CPM, but I don't think he should be fired based on his overall results.....I certainly don't trust Joe to replace him.

First off your premise is falty because we didn't face great pitching in both games only one of them. Secondly regarding the lineup I'd've had Pap behind Deichman followed by either Watson or Romero doesn't matter which one you put 6th then Smith followed by Coomes/Slaughter. That huge hole in the middle of the order allowed Deichman to be neutralized the entire post season and when you're facing upper level pitching you need to shrink their margin of error by stacking the deck against them adding pressure to every pitch and maximizing damage on their mistakes. Our lineup couldn't do that the way it was constructed and Cpm has always done that even the 09 lineup was wrong they were just so good through and through they masked it. For Christ sake he had Rymes batting cleanup his last year and Chinea batting 7th his big year! lmao if you can't see the problem there you don't know what you're looking at.

Our offense is fine.

No dumbass....it was exposed for what it is/was.....decent against mediocre/bad pitching and ineffective against top notch pitching.

Do you realize Smoke handed a loaded team over to Maneri? One of the most talented teams ever.

up to the Championship

We didnt finish strong....we finished stronger from where we were mid season...which was atrocious.
We did some belly crawling and sniveling in the Championship series and generally looked like unprepared, warmed over shite.

Mainieri and company need to own that.
