Having said that, Coach O is not the right guy. We need a man with a vision and the wherewithal to drive that vision to the field. Slogans and relying only on the staff for directing the team is not what LSU needs going forward. We need an up and coming coach to lead the team back to contention in the SEC West and further.
Some here are so excited that the head coach "speaks" their language that they are willing to overlook the fact that Coach O is not the man for the job. It is time for LSU to take a new path for the future with a new coaching staff. If Coach O has a role in that direction, it would be wonderful. If not, so be it.
You have to realize that stating facts that show Coach O isnr qualified for the lsu job is considered hate by the pro coach O people. If you post that Ed Orgeron is career position coach they takebit as a personal attack. I had one poster try to tell me that Assistant Head coach is above Offensive and defensive coordinator.
Coach O is one hell of a dline coach. Matbe one of the best dline coach. He is one hell of a recruiter. BUT we just had a great recruiter and great motivator that ran a prostyle offense. We need a change because if we are being honest with ourselves it's time to admit that no program recruits well enough to beat bama with a prostyle offense. You just cannot match oline talent with their front 7 talent. You have to spread bama out and make their secondary be the play makers.

Stop crawfishing guy you stepped in it and I slapped you. Just walk away you havnt ever made a valid point you either piggy back others are you spew idiotic vomit with nothing to back it up. Coach O pulling the team together and setting offensive records isn't the same thing as miles blowing 21 point leads in the 4th quarter. You're a moron dude plain and simple.

Ok I said 53 straight points when it was 49 omg I was soo wrong I'm such a liar. The guy was up 35-7 and lost 56-35. And yes we were up 24-3 vs tenn in 05 and lost in ot to Casey clausen a guy who couldn't get on the field for us then went to tenn and owned us in one half. Btw if that's an apology I'll accept.

Ricky does it all the time.... he has a lot of facts... but there is way more involved with a college program and how well they do then just stats... you can avg 500 yards a game, but if you lose those yards mean nothing.....

Not to beat a dead horse, but you originally said that those 53 points were scored in one half. That's false. Texas did score 49 straight points in that game, but not in one half. The halftime score was 35-14. Look up the box score, it's not that god damn hard. That's how I got the information. Like I've said before, I'm a LSU fan. I don't give a shite what Oklahoma State has done in the past, nor do i give a shite what Michigan State has done in the past.
I supported Nick Saban while he was at LSU for one reason, because he was at LSU. Same with Les Miles. Same with every coach that was at LSU before those men, and it will be the same with every coach that follows them. Coach O included. I haven't agreed or been happy with everything that has happened during each coaches time at the school, but I've supported them.

Sorry, that's not right. At least not according to LSUsports.net and the box score they have. They show the score at the end of the third quarter as 24-7 LSU. So Tennessee scored 17 points in one quarter (the fourth), not 21. Again, it's not that hard to look it up.
