Until Hurd can return to late 2023 form, it looks like Griffin should get that chance

No thanks. He needs to be the #1 leverage guy outta the pen

No, he's a lock down reliever.

he’s really a 2 pitch lefty. I do like him as a long reliever after Holman.
idk how many times through a lineup he makes it, but maybe

I get that, but we don’t have a Sunday starter at this point.

He is more valuable where he is

I’ll agree. So who is the Sunday starter? Because right now Hurd isn’t it

Kade hasn’t shown that he’s any more than a midweek starter to this point, if even that.

None of them have shown they are capable of being a sunday starter yet. But he has pitched well as a starter everytime he has been given the opportunity

Did you watch the Southern game? Come on, he’s not weekend material at all. He can’t even handle midweek starts

Yes. He got a little unlucky and a little wild. He also struck out 6

Let’s geaux with Coleman as Sunday/3rd starter. Then behind him of course by committee (whoever all is left).

I’m not against Coleman for Sundays, but someone is gonna have to step up and do something unexpected like last year if we want to go to A super and Omaha. I’m not sure who that will be.

Agree 100%
Hurd did it last year. I’m not sure why he seems to have regressed. We could really use late 2023 Hurd showing up again this year

Pitching AFTER SKENES sure was struggling last season. That’s why I have great hope we going to get some “stepper-uppers” late this season as well.

Oh hell yes, Hurd has gotta emerge again!

Let’s not forget Floyd showed up huge late last year too. We need another Floyd down the stretch

I just can’t count out this club. I keep thinking about it, and I just think we gonna make a nice run.
