its part of the freshman's season.
the bowl counts.
they would all lose the redshirt.
the 3 games/30% thing is in reference to the beginning of the season, not the end of the season. the idea is that your season was cut short, by injury or illness. no such thing pertains.

No. If they play, they lost their redshirt. Not worth it.
