if he's better than him, he will. if he's not, he won't. same thing happened with harris/jennings.

The rant thinks he's not being talked about enough though.

I think there is a true possibility that Etling will become the starter if he can be much more accurate than BH. However, with BH's ability to run, I can see Les going back to a two QB system. This is with the assumption that Etling is more accurate than BH, but I could see Etling getting a greater portion of the snaps with BH coming in on certain drives to change the pace and make the Defense have to switch up. You may even see Etling at QB while BH lines up at the WR slot or RB position.

However, these are all just pie in the sky thoughts. Some of this will also depend on how good our OL is. I really think next year our OL will be even better than it was this past year.

With Vadal Alexander SR gone to NFL.
Here is a list of JR's that could leave:
1) Ethan Pocic - Returns SR season.
2) Jerald Hawkins - Probably NFL.
3) Josh Boutte - Benched JR season, He must improve to have a shot at the NFL, so he Returns SR season and if improved technique and play definitely has the size, strength and body to become a starter again.
4) Jevonte Domond - Backup JR season. Returns as Backup SR season with hopes to get drafted in some round of the NFL draft.
5) Cody Townsend - 3rd string. Returns SR season.

Possible Athletic starting Offensive Line, 2016:
Smaller Athletic Side [Right OT] - George Brown Jr. 6'7" 283 lbs. or Toby Weathersby - 6'5" 292 lbs.
Smaller Athletic Side [Right OG] - K.J. Malone 6'4" 298 lbs. or Garret Brumfield - 6'3" 294 lbs.
Small Athletic Line [Center] - William Clapp 6'5" 303 lbs.
Larger Stronger Side [Left OG] - Maea Tuehema 6'5" 327 lbs.
Larger Stronger Side [Left OT] - Ethan Pocic 6'7" 309 lbs.

Possible Big & Stronger Offensive Line
Larger Stronger Side [Right OT] - Chidi Okeke 6'6" 311 lbs. or Toby Weathersby - 6'5" 292 lbs.
Larger Stronger Side [Right OG] - Josh Boutte 6'5" 342 lbs. or Adrian Magee 6'4" 324 lbs.
Larger Stronger Line [Center] - Ethan Pocic 6'7" 309 lbs.
Larger Stronger Side [Left OG] - Maea Tuehema 6'5" 327 lbs. or Adrian Magee 6'4" 324 lbs.
Larger Stronger Side [Left OT] - George Brown Jr. 6'7" 283 lbs. or Toby Weathersby - 6'5" 292 lbs.

But we will see. I think K.J. Malone will probably start somewhere, but LSU needs to get bigger and stay athletic on the OL.

With certain recruits possibly coming in, they will get their shot at either starting or being in the rotation.

We have one big guy committed now [OG] - Donavaughn Campbell 6'4" 347 lbs. If his technique, speed, quickness, strength, and overall athleticism is impressive, he could either start or be a part of the rotation as an OG. This is a big boy who would look good lining up in the opposite [OG] spot to either Maea Tuehema or Josh Boutte. It will be interesting to see.

As if I haven't said enough, one note of interest, if Garret Brumfield doesn't pan out on the OL, he is built a lot like Davon Godcheaux. All muscle and has good movement, speed, quickness, strength and overall athleticism. He could possibly convert to a DT/DE. Just a thought...

Signing off...

Yes, he's was a 4* QB on a team with two other Elite-11 QBs.

Championships usually won with 3rd-year & 4th-year QBs. Everybody needs to stfu and support Harris.

Well he definitely isn't a run that. He's rushed 88 times for a grand total of -104 yards.

I don't see it happening. Harris has the talent to be a serviceable quarterback. He just needs the guidance to get him there.

Would it matter? Won't the result's be the same? Who's the QB Coach here?
