Does this also imply whover had the right powerball numbers knew what was coming better than those who didn't?

With the collective knowledge of this board on LSU football I think the odds of someone predicting the correct final record are hopefully a little bit better than around 1 out of 195 million. All though maybe I would have a better chance at winning powerball than being correct on this thread as Les can defy logic at times resulting in both good and bad outcomes that are hard for me to predict.

It also depends on variables used by each person including trying to predict some of the items you stated can occur, and when the prediction is made. My original answer that you quoted was a reply in part to someone who said that me saying we may lose to Ole Miss which would effect which bowl game we went to (and therefore the likelihood or winning that bowl game) put me in a group of pessimistic fans who make all LSU fans look bad.

My short answer was that no it just meant whoever was correct had a better understanding of the team. I know there are more variables, but my main point was that my prediction will have more to do with my knowledge or lack of knowledge about this team than me being a bad or good fan. If we win more games than I predicted I will know that I did not know as much as I thought I did more than just blaming my incorrect prediction on random variables that can occur to both teams.

I'm starting to agree with this.
Keep in mind that Arky plays at Miss. St. the week before the LSU game.
That will be a very tough and physical game for them.
Advantage LSU.

11-1 reg season...loss to Arky at end but we still go to SECCG but lose to SC so overall 11-2. Arky loses another game.

Before the start of the season, I said 10-2 with a loss to Bama and either Auburn or Arky. I thought we would hand Florida.

My prediction can still come true, but I think we have a legitimate shot to go undefeated.

1. The key to beating BAMA has been exposed. Get ahead and force McElroy to beat you.

2. LSU is still relatively healthy. If the Tigers can stay away from major injuries here on out, then they have a real good shot at everyone left on the schedule.

3. The offense is beginning to get it going. If the coaching staff and figure out the proper uses of the QBs and the ratio of their playing time, then this team is really dangerous.

4. Josh Jasper - one of the best placekickers in the country. Gives us a chance to score where others would have to punt or gamble on 4th down.

Does 9-3 still keep LSU in the top 25?

You cannot predict a W or L in the bowl game b/c you have no idea who their opponent is. Thats pretty retarded.

As for the regular season, I stand by my 9-3.

9-3 will have them playing in a bowl game for a chance to finish in the top 10.

Nope. Are we 7-0 yet?

Before the season started I thought we would be 6-1 going into Auburn, and 8-5 by the end of the year. So I will be wrong about record going into Auburn. Bad fan or just learning more about this team after 6 games?
