above average QB in Flynn.

I disagree with this. Flynn has been turning heads since he entered the NFL. I believe he is better then just above average.

So what happens if he gets a poor QB in the NFL? Will he just look like he gives up midway through the season like he did at LSU? Seems like he has problems.

Byrd is in the Right.

LSU used three QBs. He needs to clarify this.

Byrds a jackass. If he ran the right route or knew more than two routes he might have room to talk. Early Doucet kept him in line. He'll get drafted on his 40 time, but needs serious reality check if he's going to stick in the league.

Byrd cost Byrd money period.

the qb situation was what it was. had he shown some leadership he would've been able to say..."we had some young guys at QB last year so I knew our production might be down a little in the passing game, so I tried to do everything I could to show some leadership and work hard on every route"

the NFL is not short on options for receivers who are ready to quit if they don't have an all-star qb on the roster

You know what I would take out of this statement if I was an NFL coach......D. Byrd not a team player probably could cause problems down the line with a young qb great stats and speed not worth as much money as we once thought. That could just be me though.

Brandon Lafell didn't have as many problems.

uh... that would be the number one option in the progression on most plays.

Exactly, good point, not every starting quarterback in the NFL throws downfield. If his only game is the deep ball, he will end up a lot like devery. He won't be an every down receiver

Byrd gave up on the team, the third week of the year. Go through the tapes and watch, he did not run his routes right, he was lazy. He pulled up on at least 6-8 passes that would have kept drives going, and was not a team player.

The offense was decent this year, if anything the defense cost the team.

Not just you. Byrd cost Byrd money this year with his less than stellar attitude. In all likleyhood he just cost himself some more. Did the QB situation affect his production and cost him $, absolutely. Did he just choose his words unwisely (again)? Seems like it.

I can't disagree with him at all - Byrd is an NFL quality talent. I think its a pretty tough thing to say but I don't blame him at all for saying the plain truth. The original post is absurd

his body language on the field basically said that. Lafell still got catches.....

his body language basically said... why the hell can't you look off the #1 receiver when he's covered and get me the ball because I'm wide-arse open!

or... why are you throwing me the ball into 3 defenders when I'm #1 in the progression on a slant route?

or... is there someone else that can play QB without throwing an interception every other series?

What the hell are you talking about?

I made a comment and gave a reason.
Byrds attitude will cost him.
Heres a prediction, he will not be drafted.

NOW THATS CRAZY, But you heard it here first
