It's actually worse for you, I was using drop RATE, in actuality Burrow had the second least amount of drop incompletions in the SEC.

Shouldn't you be driving to Baton Rouge to bust open the practice facility in case the receivers need to access the jugs machine during the hurricane?

Do you have competing stats you’d like to share? If not I’ll just assume you’re being intentionally obtuse of reality yet again.

You’re right, CFB Film room is a Soros-funded disinformation outfit whose sole purpose is to concoct fake statistics to make O’s team look bad.

its a fan site that anyone can sign up and post their stats. It would be like MadKow and Ricky posting their own concocted stats (maybe they already are)

So THAT's the quality of stats you rely on, Damone??? LOL!!

Damone... You've jumped the shark!!

Some points on CFB Film Room:
1) There are no LSU, SEC, or NCAA official stats on drops.None. Zero. Zilch
2) CFB has no employees who analyze film for stats. All volunteers.
3) Any random dude can volunteer on CFB to become an instant "advanced" analyst
4) CFB freely admits that they don't follow standard football statistical methods. Direct quote from CFB's FAQ section:

quote:

Q. Why are your stats wrong?
A. Yes, we know our stats don’t match up with the numbers you’re seeing elsewhere.
There are a number of reasons for this.
Most frequently, especially with common statistics such as rushing and passing yards, it’s because we believe the NCAA’s policy for recording official statistics is archaic, at best, and often just flat out illogical."

Drop rate is based on Passing attempts Correct? I’d imagine most QBs threw the ball much more than Joe......

The stats posted (and not withdrawn) by Damone are bogus. The site posts stats from random fanboys.

Log on to the site, and you can be an "advanced analyst" too. Word for word, from their website:
quote:

If you’re interested in joining us, here are some of the basics you’ll need to know…

– For now, this is strictly a volunteer position. But we have high hopes for CFB Film Room. Those who get involved early and contribute quality content will be in the best position to take on more significant roles as we expand.

– As an analyst, you should expect to spend four to six hours charting the game. When you first start out, it will probably be closer to six, then as you start to memorize our procedures the process will start to speed up. The teams you chart will rotate from week to week.

– We’ll train you using our charting system prior to the start of the season, so plan on spending some time learning our system over the next couple of weeks. The more time you spend learning it now, the faster the process will go for you during the season.

– You’ll be amazed at how working as an analyst changes the way you watch football. Your knowledge of the game, and especially of the teams you chart, will increase exponentially. It’s an opportunity every die-hard football fan should experience.

If you’re interested in joining our team, fill out our brief form below.

Not-so-rigorous requirements:
1 Your Name
2 Your email address
3 Your favorite team
4 Your twitter handle

Great! You're good to go!

Why don’t you explain how the stats are wrong, I’d love to see a competing statistics ranking
