I prefer to view it as another carve-your-name-deeper-into-the-clueless-about-Burrow head stone.

Who's shitting on Burrow?

I think all some of us are saying is that he's not the best QB in the country, or even close to it, and frankly we don't need him to be that to reach the goals we want to reach.

No one is claiming Burrow is the best QB in the country. Only that he will be a top-5 QB pick in the 2020 draft.

Are you saying Burrow WILL NOT be a top-5 QB pick in the 2020 draft.

Posting that he’s not achieved Jordan Jefferson levels does not equal saying he doesn’t have to be the best QB in the nation.

Season hasn't even started yet.

Why would it bother you that someone thinks our QB could be one of the best?

You've said you don't think Tua is better than Burrow.

Because based on what we've seen, for him to say that makes me think he has a brain defect and nothing he says can be taken seriously.

First year starter with a brand new team?

Speak for yourself.

He's got both tangible and intangible qualities to be one of the best this year.

I said I would prefer Burrow over Tua in LSUs system. Particularly if we can have Jeudy, and a couple of the O-linemen Tua had last year..

Are you saying Burrow WILL NOT be a top-5 QB pick in the 2020 draft?

We haven't even seen LSU's system.

Probably not.

We've seen the system. We saw Burrow run it for years at Athens.

Burrow’s 2019 will rank among the recent best - the last years for Russell, Flynn, and Mett. I don’t follow the NFL so I don’t know when he’ll be drafted. I don’t really care about that anyway, I’m looking forward to this season.

Goldie doesn't think people ever improve. JB has a lot of qualities to be a very good QB, but he's not gonna be the number one draft pick.

There's a lot of space in between that he's incapable of understanding

So you think LSU is running the same system Burrow ran in high school?

You don’t have to have followed CFB for long to understand that the biggest improvement is typically from the first year of starting to the second. A senior QB is also an asset.

I know he will and expect him to improve.

That's a huge leap to say he's going to be one of the best QBs in the nation, in this conference.

Maybe I've just been watching SEC football a long time. I know how hard it is to play QB at a high level.

Goldie is doing all he can to move those goal posts. (Bless his little heart)
