You need to let go of the past.

At one point perhaps Burrow was ahead of him but Haskins passed him up and never looked back. It happens.

I can't stand people like you. You make every excuse for the guy except admitting the obvious; he's not as good as the people you compare him to.

Quit trying to find every reason under the sun for why Burrow hasn't gotten his due yet. If he isn't a first round pick this year it won't be because the WRs didn't spend enough time with the Jugs machines or that everyone in the media hates on him. It'll be because other players are better than him.

We don't need Burrow to be the best QB in the country, just don't frick things up.

I love him leading this team next year... Could be special... But he is just a typical LSU qb... A game manager.......

Respectfully disagree.

He could be... BUt he still won't be drafted 14th next year even if he leads LSU to a 15-0 record and a NC....................

DO NOT START THE HEISMAN CRAP AGAIN THIS YEAR. Idiots like you ruined this kid last year. Just hope he wins 10 games.

I think OP is way over the top with the Heisman talk, but we don't have any effect on how these kids play and if we do that means their fricking soft.

Respectfully agree, on draft analysis.

Joe can do the 2 minute or he can audible into the winning play. Plus he has the arm talent and the legs to win a game that way as well.

Hes not even close to just being a game manager in CFB. Its just another of the intangibles that he does well. And in college football, thats higher on the list than how far he can sling it. Protect the football even under duress and just as important stay confident and poised. Not many can do this at any level.

This guy can play the position in college bro. Str8 up.

Burrow was ahead of Haskins when Haskins was an incoming freshman. That’s the huge piece of information Buckeye Joe continues to leave out when he brings up this misleading point. As soon as Haskins had enough reps to be evaluated not only did he pass Burrow but so did Tate Martell. Burrow transferred because he had been dropped to third on Ohio States depth chart. There was no “they’re equal” or QB battle between Burrow and Haskins.

Burrow redshirted his freshman year in 2015 and Haskins did the same in 2016. Burrow worked for 2 seasons backing up J.T Barret and Haskins only had one season to catch up.

We all know the direction that Urban Meyer decided to go in based off of Joe Burrow's transfer to LSU.

All LSU fans really like Burrow and give Orgeron credit for getting him to Baton Rouge. You don't have to continue trying to make Joe out to be something that he's not.

And it’s not a knock of Burrow, I’m a big Joe Burrow fan but what Buckeye is saying is just not true.

Total nonsense. Burrow took all the second team snaps through '16 and '17 until Burrow broke his hand August 22, 2017 - about a week before the season opener.

quote:

Burrow will miss at least the beginning of the season and is sidelined indefinitely, according to that report.

While J.T. Barrett is entrenched as the starter, Burrow's injury means freshman Dwayne Haskins should move to No. 2 on the depth chart, while Tate Martell will be the team's third-string option if he doesn't redshirt.

Yes sir. Bad loss no doubt. He wont lose another one of those. I do blame Arranda and the defense more. And I do give alot of credit to Mond as well. Hes really good. Franks too btw.

Thats last yr, we are talking about the upcoming season. LSU's offense was all over the place the first 6-7 games and really never found itself all year. He just played the position so well he masked alot of bad offense.
But while playing A&M all nite and getting a month to prepare for C Fla, he and the rest of the offense got most of it figured out.
He is going to destroy this upcoming schedule.
