Joe Burrow on #LSU's QB signees:

They're pretty advanced. TJ has a really strong arm, quick release. You can tell Max is really, really smart for his age. You can tell he's been here for a week, getting on the board, drawing up plays. I think that will be a fun battle to watch.

Looms like the QB room will continue to be strong. Looking forward to Brennan becoming that clear leader of the team. With all of his physical abilities, guiding the team like Burrow has is what I feel is most important going forward.

Nah, Joey B is going to play in the NFL for 40 years and win 24 Super Bowls.

Burrow set the standard and I am certainly beliving that Brennan will keep it going. Hard to stop a freight train when it starts rolling.

Burrow to new guys:” work really really hard and one you can be replaced by Grad transfer”....

Dog Dabo all you want, but he will never, ever, do that.

I'm sure Kelly Bryant loves how he was treated.

Dude, what? Brennan was a true fricking sophomore when Burrow came in. It's not like he had been here for 4 years and bided his time waiting for the superstar in front of him to leave. He got beat out by Danny fricking Etling. And he was a fine QB, don't get me wrong, but it isn't like Etling was banging 50 TDs onto the scoreboard for 3 seasons in a row while Brennan waited in the wings. Brennan wasn't ready last year and Burrow became a fricking legend this year.

Now if we take a grad transfer this year and he takes Brennan's spot, you may have a point. But it's also a major business now and LSU needs to compete to win championships every year. If Brennan can't beat out a King or a Love, he should move on.

That said, I think Brennan throws for 35+ next year.

I love hearing Burrow say how smart Max is. His HS film is an awful lot like Burrow’s and if he has the smarts too then watch out.

Hopefully he has a HOF career as a player. Those guys don't go into coaching.

He lost his job to a future first rounder that was a freshman. He was treated very well. Dabo even let him start the season even though he was obviously 2nd.
