Herbstreit is a good guy. His twin sons play for Clemson - no way they go to OSU because he was basically run out of town by the idiot fans that gave his family shite all the time
Kids went to Upper Arlington Schools, very affluent suburb right next to OSU...family very active in youth and community sports - no problem living in UA (many former athletes live there so they blend in easily and community leaves them alone)...but when the family left the confines of UA nothing but haters on him and his family. Stinks because he and his family were all in on the Buckeyes ( his dad was captain under Woody)
Because Herbie didn’t show the “homerism” fans would go nuts, hell even the local talk show hosts would call him out because they can be delusional
Herbie loves Joe Burrow- both growing up in Ohio Herbie knows him well- he knows what Joe is doing is special and generational
Buckeye fans can show their arses and delsusions to uncharted levels
