I was shocked by how close he was to third when the throw was made. Noah Lyles doesn’t beat the throw from there

Yeah can’t be mad, he delivered and it was a good call with his speed. He really only went about 2 steps too far. As soon as the throw went down he should have froze, but he didn’t stop until the ball got to 2nd.

Also, Pearson was too conservative. Should have been another couple bigs hops to home.

Stop saying he slipped i dont care if he slipped he went too far towards 2nd base. He hangs out in the middle a little more we probably score.
