Two years ago, not the same USC team that we played.

Lol. Okay the one we played was better. Ingram and clowney. And not take plays off clowney, beast mode number one pick clowney.

I''m sorry, but no rational LSU fan can confidently tell you that we can stop a tough running game. Last year's d-line and linebackers sucked out loud.

We lost two starting interior linemen -- both overrated IMO -- and have a lot of questions still up the middle.

Hell, Alabama ran the ball up the gut almost the entire 2nd half and we couldn't stop it.

I think a lot of the confidence comes from handling OOC opponents easily over the Les Miles era. But this matchup is tough -- UW strength is the LSU weakness. I'll believe that we can stop a power running game when I see it.

I expect a very close game that could go either way.

Why wouldn't it be? They handle sold out packer games every year. Plenty of folks tailgate and make the drive from outside GB. Remember, half the lambeau games are attended by those who used to have season tix to GB when they split their home games between Miltown and GB.

Stay: that depends on your preference for driving. And for what you consider fun. Comparing GB to Milwaukee is like comparing NO to Baton Rouge, minus the university. Though GB does have UWGB.

If you have the time, I'd stay in Milwaukee. Or Madison or somewhere in the Fox River Valley like Appleton. Just more stuff to do and see.

For example, there could be a Brewers game you could catch on your stay. Do you like good beer, plenty of good micro breweries. The Milwaukee Art Museum is a really great building (eero Saarinen, etc. ) with amazing art. Or maybe you want to check out the Harley museum. But,!f you like to fish then staying closer to GB would be better.

Let me know what your interests are I can give more help.

Lastly, RANDALL!!!

I would love a home and home.

In terms of the Wisconsins strength(running game), there is nothing Wisconsin fans can say that makes me feel nervous about our opening game. We are more talented on both sides of the ball. Game starts off tight but opens up in third quarter.

The "2013 starter at Wisc." wasn't the starter. The stats you just posted were Melvin Gordon's... he was a second-string running back to James White.

Anyway, I don't expect LSU to give in to Wisconsin standing a chance. You are more talented on both sides of the ball. On the flip side, don't expect Wisconsin to give in to LSU winning this game in convincing fashion, either. Wisconsin is always outclassed in athleticism and talent. We're continually told that against any decent opponent we play, but win or lose, we are in the game until the end. I don't expect this to be much different.

And yes, to agree with you those backs were certainly having/had good games against us....no one is or will deny that......our defense was less than stellar last year, and to be quite honest, no one knows what the hell they will look like this year......

But to pretend like Wisconsin is presenting some sort of "out-of-this-world" challenge to LSU with Gordon & Clement is to be quite honestly, RETARDED!!!!......

Not trying to call you a liar, and this thread is far too long to read, but can you quote whoever said Wisconsin's power-run game would be an "out-of-this-world" challenge. I am just wondering since you put that phrase into quotation marks. I would have to assume a Wisconsin fan actually said that, otherwise you're just stirring up words to work yourself up even more.

I never seem to have the time to devote to looking at these new guys coming in.

In a lot of those plays, LF looks like he's barely breaking a sweat, not even at full speed, and yet he's leaving those guys in the dust or running over them.

I think we got us a real gem here.
