Mubenga doesn't have a sec frame or the muscle to compete at this level. I don't in anyway see it.
Mubenga 6-5 317 lbs. He’s right in line with other guards in terms of size. There are only 3 OL listed as heavier among the scholarship players on the roster. That’s not the end all, be all measure, but he certainly isn’t undersized.
He definitely wasn’t ready to play against top DLs when he was thrown into action last year, but we will have to see if that’s changed after an offseason of work. If he’s still not ready, Echols definitely showed some strong, physical blocking during the Bowl Game. I was happy to hear he’s not just the backup to Thompson, but is also getting a look at LG now.

This. I knew in his press conference last year when he said Sage Ryan was moving back to corner before the USC game and would be starting that we were fricked yet again.
Idk what was worse : sage Ryan at boundary corner or major burns at star

Not all weight is created equal. He has narrow shoulders, small arms and upper half. Just thick in the thighs and legs. But lacks agility and explosiveness. He's not it...
