He is still playing top notch gold glove 3B and he leads the majors in Walks. When I watch, He is just taking too many good pitches and getting in bad hitter counts.

He was in a terrible slump at one point. He has picked it up big time recently though. Numbers don't tell the whole story.

The season is 162 games - we're halfway through it.

Like most said, he started slow but has recently been hitting the ball really well. If you look around the MLB, many hitting statistics are down across the league. Especially avg. Ball change possibly and shift taking away more hits from straight pull type hitters probably have a decent amount to do with that.

He is up to 0.248 and has been g over 0.350 the last several games. His obp wis still one of the higher ones on the team dye to his g wa Loks.

The best year he ever had w a. S th e ye a r. Aft er the cheating incident. He has had som e bad a nd frustrating injuries and is the be s t he. Has been in several years.

The best year he had was the year after the cheating. He has had several l years of frustrating injuries. Right now is the best condition he has been for several years. They still are wo44ied about his. Ha ms trying and limit certain practices that test the hamstring.

He's fourth on the team in OBP, a much better indicator of production than BA. Also, he is third on the team in RBI. He's doing fine. Not one of the better offensive infielders in MLB like in past years, but he's still a major source of production on the team. They have a great pitching staff, holding opponents to a .212 BA.

Everyone in baseball has been “cheating” than.

Cheating is changing the score or taking steriods.
