What it boils down to is the absolute ridiculousness of the whole investigation.
Why don't we put these athletes in a bubble? That way they can't have contact with anyone...and we won't have any problems.
Or we could make up rules about how they can't date because the girl might work at a restaurant and get a good tip from one of the coaches and the player might benefit because she might buy a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter with the tip. God! Call the NCAA!
Or maybe the players can't make eye contact in the grocery store with anyone. Could be a sports agent.
Or maybe they should accept no gifts...even at Christmas.
Or no free drinks EVER!
Hell, they better not take free samples at Sam's Club.
Really? This is what it's come to? I wouldn't be surprise if reporters aren't digging through their damn garbage for something incriminating.
