One way would be calling plays that accentuate his mobility---a designed rollout/”moving pocket”, for example. Roll him to a side and give him a primary and secondary read, and if it’s not there he either throws it away or tucks and runs for what he can get.
Since the run option actually part of the play in this case and not something improvised, you could say that he’s being placed in a “quality” position to extend a play if he goes through his progressions and doesn’t like what he sees.
