have never had less ill will towards a guy that left our program. He even said a few days prior to the game that he was coming back knowing that he wasn't and I hold zero animosity for that. I actually think it was the right thing for him to say at the time so that our players stayed focused.

bullshite...why sign an extension? That was disingenuous to recruits and players and fans. It took his character down a notch, imo

"Elite" is a relative term and comparing NFL talent to College Talent isnt the goal.

Are they elite against actual Elite NFL DB's? Thats the question. And the answer is probably not.

most people dont realize that im sure Rhule called O and asked, "hey, can this guy call a game?" what you think Oregeron said...? Oregeron didnt lie and say no he cant, oregeron knows Brady showed very good play calling skills for what we know... it wasnt just Bunch Sets or empty sets or inside the 12 yd line.. im sure he gave plenty of input to E... E aint no slouch and im sure hes learned the system but Im gonna go against conventional wisdom here and believe he does well if he can get a QB.

also, you don't get to have waves of elite talent at every position in the pros like you do at LSU.

Say what? Every year Nfl teams bring in elite talant to add to the elite talant they got the year before and the year before that and the year before that....

Every player on an NFL team was elite in college.
No, that isn't true, at all.

Couple years ago the Bengals picked up James Wright out of LSU, who barely saw the field here. He lasted a couple seasons.
Atlanta took Russell Gage from LSU, he's still there.

Neither of those guys were "elite", and one never even started.

Look, in contrast, at LSU- couple years ago we had Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr on the same team. We have Chase, Jefferson, and Marshall on this team. You go back to when we had Clayton and Henderson, or really to when we had Josh Reed and those guys in 2001... LSU has had multiple NFL WRs on basically every team, and going against some programs that couldn't begin to match that talent on defense.
