Based on his play this year, I don't see why he thinks himself a lock to get drafted.

I don't think he's a lock either. Particularly the way his season ended. Drama isn't tolerated with punters in the NFL.

He is a punter who was suspended for violation of team "rules." We know what that means and so does the NFL. What NFL team would waste a draft pick on that?
Hell, even Oakland wouldn't be that stupid.

you are one of the many idiots who idolized him for no reason; which gave him a huge ego and turned him into a giant arse.

People get so upset when a player is selfish and merely uses the football program as a stepping stone to the next level.

As if LSU doesn't exploit these kids for monetary gain.

People are just bitches sometimes.

He will be the top punter on the board, and he will end up on an NFL team, and no one will give a shite about his getting suspended for one game. He won't be drafted high because no one draft's punters high (except Jacksonville, apparently), but he is going into the league, whether it's as a late draft pick or a UDFA.

He will also make more than most people posting angry bullshite here, have a generally better life, and probably be a lot more fun to hang out with than you weird rage-oholics.

Exactly - apparently the Rant faithful don't know how to read. The "No. 1 K" on the ticker ring a bell?

I'd kinda be surprised if he got drafted but that's solely on the basis that most teams don't want to waste picks when they can get a good guy undrafted or already have a good punter.

I think eventually wing will punt in the NFL. But being a kicker is so hard because those guys kick forever. Hard to find a job. But I will be rooting for him

so, according to some, it is okay to be selfish and break rules and, if you make more money, you will have a better life and be more fun than us regular folks who value ethics.

I don't think anyone is supporting the breaking of rules.

I think some, including myself, thinks it's silly to hate on this kid to the extent some are hating just because he broke a team rule.

As long as he's willing to take responsibility and face the consequences, I've got nothing against the kid.

Wish him the best in the NFL, thanks for the memories.

All current and former Tiger players are giggling about a PUNTER pimping his worth. LOL!!!!!

good luck to the kid. He'd be wise to have coffee one morning with Mr Mawae so he starts off on the right foot in the NFL.
