God knows if I start one it'll be anchored in minutes.
I'll toss up the SEC ramifications and other odds and ends.

Btw, Pony Express steamrolling UConn right now.

"It's a similar story for the Alabama Crimson Tide, as victories over Arkansas and Georgia Bulldogs won't do much to move the needle this week, and the LSU Tigers. Even though the Bayou Bengals defeated Florida on Saturday and visit Rupp Arena on Saturday, an SEC Tournament crown is the only way they'll make the field. There are simply too many stinkers among their 12 losses."

Disagree.
Beat UK...get to conference semis and we get in. The bubble is a train wreck this year

Conference rpi is just rpi in the conference. LSU will have top SEC SOS and with a win at Kentucky, the top conference rpi. The more games they play in the SEC tourney, the more they can wash out their awful out of conference rpi.
Also, do whoever is talking about SC's out of conference, they were undefeated, but their SOS is ranked 297 or something. So they played nobody, but didn't lose to a terrible opponent like LSU.

and saying lsu was "safely in" before the bama game is a stretch. some people had lsu in, some didn't. the brackets that didn't were much higher on the matrix than mr. 7 seed lunardi.

quote:as usual, people are oversimplifying. it's not just that losing to a good team is a plus. it's who you play vs who everyone else plays. iirc, lsu went down a spot after losing to a&m. but in other cases, a team could move up after a loss. it just depends on what the entire field is doing.
I agree with you that losing to a good team should not count as a plus

quote:this stupid garbage is still going on. i stated the facts. i'm sorry you didn't like them because they didn't favor lsu. and now it ought to be painfully, blatantly obvious (especially to tigerbait) that i was right all along. plenty of people in several threads are now saying what i have been saying since jan.
Are you bfniii alter?

quote:i think he meant that lsu will have the best rpi during conference play only, but i could be wrong that he meant that.
Several SEC teams would still have better RPIs than the Tigers after an upset of Kentucky, including Kentucky, Vanderbilt, A&M, and S. Carolina

i was the one saying lsu was in a hole because of the ooc games. you and the crew were arguing lsu was already in, which was completely ridiculous.
Reading comprehension and context can be hard.
And please, asking again, link 1 post where I said LSU didn't create a hole for themselves in their OOC. Hell, I even addressed that in the post that you responded to here.

LSU, going into the Bama game, had done enough to earn a bid at that point of the season. It was pretty accepted actually even on your precious bracket matrix. When you drop a home game, then back to back road games to very bad teams, that erases the work we had done in SEC play.
And I've addressed and normalized your bracket matrix BS plenty already. You couldn't comprehend the blogs anyways.
I would love to hear what YOU believe LSU needs to do to get in at this point.
