Agree, but it would be a win at one of the toughest road venues in the NCAA. Would be huge.

LSU lost to Tennessee and Alabama. They should not even be n the discussion for an at large bid. The only reason they will get in, if they do, is if they win the SEC Tournament or the committee simply wants the best player in the nation in the NCAA Tournament.

They get compared against other teams, not whatever criteria you fricking decide.

If LSU wins @UK, they are certainly back in the discussion.

Maybe they will be but they should not be. 11-6 in a weak conference is not tournament material.

What about the other teams they are compared too? Do dumbasses like you not realize all the bubble teams have shakey resumes?

Keep those purple and gold shaded glasses on my friend. Did you see the near melt down against Mizzou (a horrible team btw)? I get they will probably get in because of Simmons, I never said they will not get in. I said they do not deserve it.

No one has them in at 11-6. If you can actually read, what has been posted is contingent on winning @UK, which would make LSU 12-6 and potentially co-SEC Champs, 4-3 v Top 50 and 8-6 vs. Top 100. That puts LSU in the discussion.

Your trolling won't change that.

Mizzou acutally BEAT USCe, are you saying USCe doesn't deserve a bid?

There is still a difference between being on the good and bad side of the bubble.

They are in waaaay better position for a bid. Terrible comparison.

True, but RPI is what is killing LSU. A win @UK will improve that, but we'll still be below some other bubbles.

But take a look at the bubble teams, last 4 byes, last 4 in, they include:
Michigan: 3-8 v Top 50, 3-10 v. Top 100.
Cincinnati: 2-5 v Top 50, 6-7 v. Top 100.
UConn: 3-3 v Top 50, 6-10 v. Top 100.
Gonzaga: 0-5 v Top 50, 3-7 v. Top 100.

As stated above, a win @UK and LSU should be in the discussion with 4-3 v. Top 50 and 8-6 v. Top 100. Of those 5 (4 projected in right now, LSU out), LSU would be the only team with a winning record against Top 50 and only team with winning record against Top 100. Doesn't mean that would overcome RPI, but I think in discussions it's a solid argument and IMO makes LSU more deserving.

If Vandy wins and we win Saturday we are in IMO. Even though it isn't an automatic bid I just don't see them leaving out the SEC champion from the tournament. You can throw out all these numbers and what not but think about the committee comparing us to other bubble teams. A win at Rupp arena to get a share of the SEC title would punch our ticket IMO

The the purple and gold glasses off fool. Do you really thing LSU is a tournament team? No heart. No emotion. I would rather not make the tourney than get embarrassed on national television.

This is forever such a moronic statement.

I will ALWAYS want my team in the dance to compete. Literally anything can happen.. but it can't if you don't even get an opportunity.

Keep in my mind.. there are other teams fighting for the similar spot because of similar records.. Why should they deserve it as well? If LSU gets in then they will have earned it, regardless how you feel.. they were still among the teams to get the nod.

Again, as a fan, I ALWAYS want that chance. I would rather be "embarrassed" on TV than not in the competition at all.. plus no one will really care when it's over with. and don't give me that NIT crap. It's not worth anything. I would rather lose in the real tournament than win an exhibition second tier competition.

USCe did not have a dumpster fire of a non-conference record. While LSU has some good wins they have just as many wtf losses pre-SEC. In fact I do not know if USCe even lost to a non-conference opponent.

It's not a troll, it's a fact and you're purple and gold tinted sunglasses does not change how this season started then ended.

You haven't stated one fact in this thread.

On the other hand, you just ignored a whole-bunch-of-facts. Are you bfniii alter?

And just so you are aware, your opinion of "deserve" isn't a fact.
