He shouldnt have said it but Tennessee was noticeably different in the way they were behaving.

You can like it or not. But its a fact. Baseball is a bit different than football. Chanting "(First name of a player) SUCKS!" all game is not a common thing in SEC baseball. It stood out to me. They were also just simply obnoxious beyond that.

Again im not telling them not to do it. Or that they shouldnt. Im saying that particular crowd acted like they were "new" to baseball. Hell they didnt even understand how to do the Ball 5.... chant.

They weren’t any worse than numerous rural high school fans in LA If you are playing at LSU you were probably the best player on your HS team and heard a lot of shite direct at you. A bunch of college kids behind the dug in a stadium that is damn near empty shouldn’t be able to get in these kids head.

The real issue was that they didn’t have much confidence in that series leaving the door open stuff like this.

I wouldn’t care if the players chanted if they swept someone

Jumping rope replaced the usual running pitchers do after a game.

Don’t get embarrassed and don’t worry about what the other team and fans are saying. When you get beat don’t go to the media and complain. That’s all I’m saying. It sounds soft.

Our pitchers don’t look major league compared to Vandy. We need to step up the recruiting big time.

Some of the chants A&M fans did in the late 80s to LSU players would be headline news today. Skip and those players kicked their arse and laugh about it today.
