That’s how you represent your Alma Mater when the national spotlight is on you. Showing your pride and fandom.

Not trashing LSU and their fans.

Was actually thinking the same thing. Look back though....when Auburn has made mistakes or struggled, Charles has been neutral at best.

I guess Booger isn’t a fan of Orgeron.

Booger and Spears go out of their way to not look like an LSU fan

frick booger he can’t hold Barkley’s jock strap. Booger was a mediocre pro and an even worse broadcaster.

Not sure but two weeks ago when this fiasco all started he had no problem throwing LSU fans and Alums that supported Wade under the bus.

As someone said in this thread. Remaining neutral would have been acceptable.

booger isn’t that bad. tells it how it is. Now marcus spears on the other hand goes out of his way to talk shite about LSU so that he can not look like a homer

Booger is heads and shoulders above Marcus Spears as far as his LSU fandom.

Like when he called Auburn racist for hiring Chizik over Turner Gill.

They do support LSU. What I can't understand is that they voice many of the same opinions as those posted on this board, yet when they actually do their jobs as analysts and don't totally kiss arse, everyone melts down and assumes they're consciously trying to trash the program.

You might have a point regarding booger but Spears is an unapologetic Saban nut hugger

I'm not talking about Booger's analysis of a football game.

I'm talking about his unnecessary comments at his fellow alums that had a different perspective on the Will Wade suspension.

Meanwhile you've got Chuck on air surrounded by Auburn paraphernalia.

I haven't seen his comments on the situation, so I'll take your word on that.

I'm just saying that I don't believe in completely blasting an LSU guy when he might have an opinion that's perceived negatively.

As far as Barkley is concerned, I'm sure he didn't request all of that to be done. Otherwise the balloons, shakers, etc would've happened on Thursday, too. The staff was just having fun with him.
