He was joking about the Coronavirus to the media a few days ago, touching all the microphones. Low & behold, he got the Coronavirus and the NBA panicked and cancelled all of their games.
This caused a direct panic snowball effect to all sports. Everything got cancelled within 24 hours of this happening.
ALL sports would still be going on if it weren’t for him.
Gobert is the greatest DPOY of all time. He single-handedly shut down the sports world.

The NBA postponed their games, not cancelled. I think that’s a bit of an overreaction as well, but it’s nothing compared to the NCAA cancelling multiple seasons and tournaments.
