News flash your team and program is not nearly as good as y’all think you are. A guy that has coached multiple good defenses as a play caller has one bad year and y’all are throwing him to the wolves. Your team isn’t that good and you had to replace guys in a year with no offseason workouts, no spring, and a modified version of fall camp.

Sure 1 game and a couple other bad ones. Doesn’t erase all the other years of quality defenses he coached or LB’s. It’s just nonsense to think the guy is just unbearably bad because of one short year of bad defense with not so great talent in a year with no offseason or spring lol

Just seems like the team gave up on him.

Diaz even hinted at that in his comments about taking the play calling back. Something went bad.

I think he will be fine at linebacker coach but it seems like he will be leaned on for game planning.

I know he likes an attacking defense. They would have trouble with the better teams.

I hope he is a good recruiter. I've heard he wasn't that great.

Only the stupid one’s, that don’t keep up with how things work. Blake Baker is a good hire, and nothing wrong with having a multi year defensive coordinator from the manny diaz tree to blend with what Jones is trying to do. Oh, and major local ties to recruiting
