Frick. Tired of this being posted. We are not wearing a blackout jersey. For plenty of reasons.

1-it's illegal, we can't wear them due to ncaa rules
2-it's fricking stupid, we aren't Oregon or grambling
3-it looks like crap and anyone who buys that is a douchebag

Ok. For real people. Does anyone even think that looks like an actual football jersey. It's just an athletic shirt for retail sale.

There is something inherently wrong with that on many, many levels.

Yeah sorry. I RA'ed myself. I've been busy and didn't see the thread from a few days ago.

It is just a damn ugly jersey.

Why in the frick would a team whose colors are purple and gold wear black? Again the LSU colors are purple and gold, not motherfricking black.

Actually it is. Most people don't know this but it is. Maybe not the "team colors" but black is one of the colors. Along with grey. The black originated from the black ribbons that people included with their purple, white and old gold (not fricking yellow) ribbon decorations that people wore to the games back in the day (I'm pretty sure that's how it originated).
