BK and Nuss’ Injury…

The reason BK gets flustered when Nuss’ injury is brought up is because he wants to keep it a secret. He is not self-aware enough to know the whole country sees it. Nuss has been instructed not to run because they don’t want to worsen or risk a season ending injury.
Because everyone knows it, they know Nuss can’t hurt them with his legs. Unfortunately, not only are his legs a huge liability but he has constantly under-thrown deep receivers or simply checked down because even HE knows he can’t make those deep throws.
If MVB is so inept that he can’t provide some help then why is he in even on the roster?
Throw in the fact that Sloan is trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and isn’t adapting HIS offense to LSU’s personnel, is a recipe for disaster. 57 yards rushing against a 3 man front against one of the worst rush defenses in the entire country. 2 third down conversions ALL night.
Unfortunately, this can’t be fixed during the season. Really hope I’m wrong. But, after having your shite pushed in by La Tech along the line, it would have been fixed by now, if it could.
Still believe defense and Baker are good enough.
Sad for the program that spent so much money for this product they’re putting on the field.

If this was true he wouldn’t have brought it up in a press conference. BK openly told the media about the injury.

LSU spent 30 million dollars in the portal, we played one of the worst rush defenses in the country. Now after the game it's - well Sloan needs different style of players lol.
9 rushes total in the first half. That's fricking insane

Yep. Playing the worst rush defense in the conference while also having an injured QB and legitimately being scared to run the ball is insane.

I honestly don't understand how you could justify keeping Sloan and Brad Davis at this point.
Both have to be fired.

He brought it up because he had to have an excuse but declared it wasn’t serious. The injury is serious enough that Nuss is not allowed to run and can’t stretch the field. In what alternate universe can LSU win with that formula?
MVB may not be the answer but he can run and can stretch defenses (which would help Durham and Berry) by throwing to all areas of the field.

Nuss has barely ever run even when completely healthy, so that ain't it.

Solo, you missed my point. I think LSU has championship personnel; however, Sloan is too inept to fit his strategy to their strengths.
Perfect example, why is Sloan running the read-option with a QB who in 5 years has NEVER been a threat to run??
