My body is ready for some button down professionalism from the staff instead of the low IQ “quirky” stupid shite we’ve seen from the last 2 Head Coaches.

And to think they both won national titles here. It’s astounding.

great and correct post.

Only thing I MIGHT disagree with is this:

this recruiting cycle is going to hurt
In the transfer portal era, anything, literally anything is possible.

And bc of this, I like CFB just a little bit less than I did as a child

Way some of you are acting that the talent level is below Gerry Dinardo. LSU is still one of the most talented teams in the SEC and therefore the country.
If Kelly can't step in here and win right away it says more about Kelly than the players left.

Yep. Hell better coaching this year gets you atleast 3 more wins.... Arkie,Bama, and Auburn should have been wins.... Coaching pissed them away

Swampcat those of us who are capable reading quickly are appreciative of a well thought out line of describing BK's thought process. It was well said. Now go back to Cat in the Hat and read 3 pages a night.

We've had Tricky Nicky and Arnsparger that were just as good but other than that, not really.

He shouldn't be anointed the second coming but he's the most professional coach we've ever hired, that includes Saban. BK is further along in his career than Saban was and has a better track record than Saban did. Expectations should be high considering his body of work.

There's a couple things he might need some time on. Adapting to the SEC game, SEC players and culture in LA. Cant imagine a diametrically different environment compared to what he came from. He should be able to manage those challenges but I hope fans don't get down on him if he struggles a bit adapting. He is an odd fit for sure, even more than Saban (Saban was a West Virginia country boy) but he's a proven commodity who should do well.

LSU has had ONE Heisman caliber QB in the past 20 YEARS,

LSU already had a 5 star QB committed when Kelly was hired.

What do you expect him to do differently?

It’s mind blowing really. And if Oklahoma St makes a short FG, it’s 3 titles with those two dunces

A good O line in and of itself will not get this program back to the top. It’s important, but just as important is the position that has his hands on the football on every play.

A QB will carry your team for 2-3 years.

Good OL recruiting will carry your whole program for a decade plus.

My concern with BK is he was 1-8 vs top 10 teams and 31-27 vs top 25 teams at Notre Dame one of the best brands in sports.

I have a graduate degree, lol!! Just don’t understand why a person feels they need to write a book. IMO That’s all.
