Served as Utah State's DC from 2009-2012 immediately prior to Aranda. I don't think Pelini will be fired before the end of the season but Busch seems like the best candidate on staff to take over as interim DC if Pelini is let go.

Corey Raymond also coached under Aranda for a long time and probably knows the scheme inside and out.

Safeties look awful. Jacoby needs to be a linebacker

We are the worst DB’s in the country when we play Man-to-man and worst in the country when we play zone. You sure you want BB or CR coaching the rest of the D? I wish those 2 guys would have to talk to the press. I’m interested to see what they think about how things got this bad.

The entire defense sucks. At every level. It hasn't been this bad since I was in school in the '90's. I wouldn't expect Busch to make much difference. Just stating he seems like the most obvious interim candidate if Pelini is let go.

Exactly. He’s gotten a ton of praise for his coaching but outside of Delpit in 2018, the safeties have looked mediocre to bad.
