the ONLY time JJ should be in the game is when we are in the red zone. Put Shep, JJ, and Lee in at the same time and watch the defense go ape shite

When I saw "Biggest Myth of 2010" I first thought - Boise State is the best team since USC's OnePete days.

They play a decent ranked BCS team once or twice a year. Here's a pic of Boise's schedule:

Other than that, it's that Jefferson is any better than the worst quarterback in all of college football. Hell, the Mcneese State quarterback was a freshman starting his first game Saturday night I think, and he looked better than Jefferson.

I don't even know how this got started. You can tell Lee is itching to get on the field from the get-go.

Alan Richer (sp?) said "Some guys are better off the bench", and apparently some knuckleheads here took that as gospel... even though I think Alan was just making a statement and wasn't necessarily stating his opinion of the situation.

Anywho... I'm guessing thats where it started.

Actually, the biggest myth is that LSU is lucky. The UNC and WVU games were parades of bad luck. So was the Florida game, really. Yet, LSU has one lucky play when Tennessee has a brain fart, and we're the "luckiest team". frick that.

That's just a way to deny LSU credit for being good. there is nothing lucky about having one of the best defenses in the country coupled with an awesome special teams unit. It's not luck... we're good. It was unlcuky some of these games were close. But apparently bad breaks for LSU are just indicative of our talent and should be ignored while any good break is to be hyped nonstop.

OK, so let's play "this rumor has legs." Even if it was true that Lee was better off the bench, then for goodness sakes, once he's off the bench

LEAVE HIM IN THE GAME !!!

Is there a bigger myth floating around amongst LSU fans right now than the one that says JLee only plays well when coming off the bench????

JJ is a good running qb.

JJ helps this team win.

JJ can throw the ball effectively.

Take your pick.....

Can someone, please, provide one single shred of evidence that this is the case.

Stems from the fact that he played much better in 2008 when in rotation with Andrew Hatch.

When he became the full-time starter due to Hatch's injury his play severely declined.
