He was in beast mode that game. Just about single handedly won the game for us. Maybe not the biggest clutch of all time, but that is one I remember. Possibly Hester in the Florida game on all the 4th down plays and goal line run.

No question the "glue" of our championship season. I will never forget the images of him, just days apart:





When I saw that second picture, I knew we already won the championship (honestly, I was still a little dazed from my telling my wife, "All this is academic - Pitt is not going to beat West Virginia" - then watching the 4th quarter of that game) - because I could see what our guys were thinking and I knew what tOSU was thinking (Great - another loaded, fired-up SEC team eager to take a bite out of our a$$).

2001--he had an amazing year that year...the only two games he did not have over 100 receiving yards were against Florida, and Tennessee in the SEC Championship game

We did lose that one but that one game(even in a lose) made him a legend.
