This game was hardly a choke... couple errors... we were in it 'til the end. UCLA is a good ball club, they took down Fullerton who I was a lot more afraid of.

Hasn't Bergman's errors cost LSU close to, if not half of its losses? And he get all these accolades, don't get it.

I think our CWS will be 0-2 this year.

Very possible. Seems like LSU walked in thinking this bracket was theirs.

Either UNC or LSU will be fired up and pissed off. I don't expect a close game Tuesday.

We're trying to play gorilla ball and hit home runs every pitch with those bats and in that ballpark. Meanwhile, we lose to a team that literally couldn't get an extra base hit off our pitching.

This is on Manieri. Lose to that team with Nola on the mound.

Biggest Choke Job In LSU Baseball History? If not, it HAS to be at least top 3, no? Has all the elements: Great offense that can't hit. "Best Defensive Team Ever" commits two errors thus handing a very weak hitting team the game. Damn shame, really. Oh well, they're still the best! Don't care, still love LSU.

Choke job? They played great, made two errors against a great pitching and defensive team and lost. It's that simple.

They played great,

Too much hubris or shitty preparation. They thought that unlike every other team the last three years, they would impose their will on that ballpark. And then Bregman hotdogging an easy grounder. They just shite away an easy trip to the championship game.

Bregman is a freshman. The ball took a nasty hop. It happens. Ty Ross's bad throw was very unfortunate. Rymes swinging on a 2-0 count is simply dumbfounding. He's a double play machine & I just don't get it.

Yeah, this needs to be anchored instead of all the Raph swinging threads.

Biggest Choke in LSU Baseball History.

CWS 1987:

After LSU scored 3 runs in the top of the 10th inning, Ben McDonald gave up a 10th-inning bases-loaded grand slam to Stanford that eliminated LSU from the tournament.
