2009 Saints simply because it was their first. But that isn’t meant to reduce the enormity of this win for LSU. Really, we’re splitting hairs here. All championships in major sports mean a ton to the respective state. Not just morale, but also in revenue.

I personally wouldn't trade the 2009 Superbowl for anything, but I would have easily chosen this championship over the Saints winning this year's superbowl
