It's almost good that we don't have any freshman WRs this year (haven't forgotten Ibeita). The WR room would be packed to the brim rn. The guys we have coming back and the freshman class coming in should perform well next season.

He has stepped up, big time. LSU fans are underrating Boutte. He is our best. Defenses consistently show Boutte the most attention, because there is not a man in college football who can stay with him. But Nabers is that violent WR like Chase and Jarvis Landry.

There has never been an LSU WR corps that had four receivers like this. In my opinion, LSU’s top four this year would be the third through sixth on that 2019 team. Jenkins, Boutte, Nabers and Thomas can walk onto any NFL team and start. Lacey and Bech will make NFL rosters. I’d say this squad is right there with the 2019 Alabama WRs. I’d take 2019 LSU’s WRs just because the top two were two of the best to ever play.

That last second hand separation he used on that go route in the 1st Q was high level like Chase used against AJ Terrell.
