Better to stay by parks or downtown Orlando?

i put a bid in for 4 nights at the holiday inn that is 8 miles from Disney and i think 15 or so from the stadium and got it for 50/night

I stayed at probably that same Holiday Inn when I went in 2004. Was a short ride to the parks and like 30 minutes with traffic to the Stadium so it was not bad. But I loved the 8 lanes of madness, driving to stadium 
Parks when we went had a bunch of different concerts but you had to pay to get in to view them, we ended up hanging out with Tiger Band at Disney and then at some little local bar out there.

Our reservations were from 31st to 4th but after the loss we left the next day. Kinda ruined the entire mood of the trip

Eh I had never been to Disney... When we went then we went at night and went to a little club they had there. Did not do anything like walk the park, or ride the rides.

the best part about the Cap One is you can park quite a distance from the stadium for just a few dollars and the transit busses will bring you right to the stadium. We stayed at Disney and where back at our hotel 30 minutes after the game. Should be a map on the Cap One website
