FACT. 8 year CWS drought. Nuff said.

Yep.

Another fun fact: No regular season or SEC tourney titles EVER!

I will disagree with you on the softball piece. I have seen more softball threads created on the TD this past season than I ever have. Also, not all the threads were negative until the latter part of the season. I believe that, while it isn't insanely popular, it has shown very healthy growth over the past few seasons.

Developing players to get better from Freshman-Seniors to their potential, seems lately she can recruit great players with high ranking but some regress when they should be progressing and getting to WCWS with that talent, just get the these highly ranked recruits to their full potential which in turn would lead to Super Regional wins and WCWS appearances

you want to fire a coach that hosted a regional?

sec teams makes regionals yearly. ULL made them 25 years straightr until GG bailed and stole players.

HFS u know nothing about softball.

no WCWS since 2017 and she has never ever won the SEC reg season or tourney.

Year after year, lately...it's the same old thing. A mediocre product on the field ain't gonna win the SEC, much less a national championship!
Hate to say it, but we'll most likely see the same results next year..If so, the A.D. and she should be run out of town.

[1] This is the NIL era.
[2] Its softball in the NIL era and 1.3 million for the buyout of a softball coach who has made the post season every year and has a winning record, can simply be spent better.
[3] It is pretty much guaranteed that we will need to pay a hefty buyout in another sport next year.
[4] On the evening of 30th August, if the result is not satisfactory, and the odds there off are about 50-50 at best, a lot of very wealthy, highly intelligent and fiscally responsible baws on this board would clamor for the payment of a multi-million dollar buyout that we simply cannot afford.

So Scott is being fiscally responsible here and being wise. Let Beth Torina be.

All of the money from fans of LSU women’s sports is going to basketball and gymnastics. LSU is not dipping into their own pocket to buy Beth out. She will finish her contract and won’t be retained.

Most college softball teams have never been to World Series.
