Im confident that is where we are headed, if not i love football and will still go even if were not in the game. Are the prices right now the best they will be? It's about $300 for a lower bowl seat right now, i cant imagine they will get cheaper if in fact LSU is chosen to play.

Unlike many fans here, im excited to still be in the top 10 and would like to see us play in our first big bowl game in years

2-24 hours before the game. We went to the Semifinal playoff game last year on a whim just to see a Semifinal and got tickets for $90 each in the lower level end zone two hours before kickoff.

You do realize that if Bama beats UGA in the SECCG, the Sugar Bowl is much more likely to take the Dawgs over us, so I'd hold off on buying those tickets. Bowls are all about making money. UGA would travel better and spend more money in NOLA than we would.

Could also be Peach. Don't think we play in Florida this year

Same. I think all their unbeaten disrespected talk would get the Tigers full attention and that helps in bowl season imo

It’s a good buy because if we are in then your good and if Georgia makes it you can make a profit

I bought reserves for Sugar a few weeks ago for $10 a piece. If they get in, I'm guaranteed lower bowl tickets for face value. If they don't, I lose my $20

Eta- the reserves are still $10

It will come down to UGA and LSU
If LSU wins out I think it will be LSU
They've been on sale for awhile now, I would get them now if you want to go no matter the teams.

I wouldn't bank on that outcome. If UGA and LSU both win out, they will each have 2 losses with LSU owning the head to head, not to mention that they will likely fall just behind us in the polls for that reason and also considering that we are the highest ranked two loss team. I don't expect that to change.

They would in fact have an extra win, but that didn't help OSU get into the title game in 2011, and that was when win loss percentage was mathematically factored into the selection. Having said that, a major bowl is a major bowl, and I'd probably prefer the novelty of playing in the Fiesta against a team that much of the country would like to backhand across the mouth.

They aren't going to drop below us because they had to play an extra game. The committee isn't stupid.

UGA will spend way more money in NOLA due to needing hotels, more meals out, etc.

The Sugar Bowl doesn't select who plays in the game, the CFP Selection Committee does (But they would rather LSU for ticket sales to be honest). UGA fans already did a NOLA trip for our game this year so are less likely to travel.

If Bama beats UGA handily, I expect we'll be ranked ahead of the Dawgs in the final rankings because we beat them by 20 points head-to-head. The highest ranked non-CFP SEC team will go to the Sugar by the rules so that would put us there.

I do think that LSU fans would travel to NOLA for the Sugar Bowl, I just feel that the SB would prefer UGA because they would spend more money in hotels, restaurants, etc. That said, it's not up to the SB who they get.

I just hope to God that we don't get sent to another Florida bowl.
