I've seen JJ play, it could hurt

If JJ gets released by Grand Jury and is available to come back to team, I think he has 2 options. 1. Come back this year and be backup to Lee or 2. Transfer like Perriloux and try to finish his college career at another school as starter. I'm like most on here, I don't think the team is served well by his return next year. Time for a new era to begin.

I just checked out his posts and he's not a flamer.

I think he's being dead serious.

I "ETA'd" this shortly after my post of a few minutes ago:

[I don't think JJ should redshirt. 'Nuff said. If he can't play this year, it's time for him to get his degree and start his life like the rest of us. Who knows, he may have a future in Canadian Football or the Arena Leagues. He's big and athletic, and has shown flashes of decent QB play.]

I'd prefer that he come back this year and see what develops. We haven't gone a year without the starter getting hurt since 2006 (I believe). He may get another chance. Otherwise, he can play as the coaches need him. I would like to see him get a chance to regain the spot that he earned, but all things conidered, that may not be realistic at this point.

we all just need to remember that...HE HAS TWO OPTIONS, coach could lose the team if players are truly/blindly behind JJ and coaches force a transfer. Being behind him and understanding the situation is one thing, but being behind him blindly is a bad situation. Speculating on what he will do is one thing, but at the end of the day it is his decision and should remain only his decision.

Good point. I don't know how the players feel about the whole situation. I doubt any of us do. But he was, apparently, pretty close to most the key players on the team.

There is a delicate way to handle almost anything. This isn't a war.

WTF has anyone seen out of Jefferson to make them believe he is any type of leader or QB?

Id love for just one poster on this site to help me understand this.

For a few people here JJ's story is bigger than than this football season.
Ive never in my life been so sick and tired of one player or one story line.

It is just frustrating that the talk is going to be about the case this week, and not WVU.

Again, it could be a distraction.
