I wouldn't understand what Rudy is saying without the 15 exclamation points after each sentence. He reminds me of that dukke v poster that posts like a child.

I jsut wanted to know why this story is more important to a few select posters than this season is... Ive asked this question 3-4 times and no one will ever answer.

Because some of us can walk and chew gum at the same time? That, plus there are some of us who realize that despite how much passion we have have for LSU Football, we are...um...not on the team, so our "focus" doesn't really matter.

Also, and I know this won;t go well with the majority of the LSU fan base who are clearly superior talent evaluators than Les Miles and his staff, but the story we are following along with the games being played is NOT about the third string long snapper...it's about the guy who had earned the starting QB position at LSU the past three seasons. It's kind of a big story.

Yeah it's best for the team that he redshirts because a qb controversy will just bring more drama to our team. We are running smooth now. Let lee play it out. Win or lose. Jefferson will roll smooth next year by himself

To be honest, I don't know what's best for the team. Neither does anyone else on here.

I would say that while I think thus far Lee has played well, that doesn't mean it will last and it doesn't mean he'll stay healthy. As much promise as I think Mett has, I can't say that I'd be ready to turn it over to him if he had an option the staff CLEARLY felt was better this year.

As for redshirting, that would be fine by me...though you've seen the meltdown by others on the board even SUGGESTING JJ be redshirted. I would think Mett would beat him out and be the starter next season which would give us the most seasoned back-up in the SEC...but if JJ won out I'd be fine with that.

Just turned on the computer got to the rant and through up in my mouth a bit. Reasons for this:

A.JJ post suck
B.I DONT WANT HIM BACK THIS YEAR OR NEXT
C.If a red shirt takes place LSU world will go up side down.

You say that, but LSU would benefit from JJ next year. And having this year off will benefit JJ.

Do you think that Miles would still have the support of the fans if JJ returned next year and Mettenberger transferred?
